When were approached by a young couple to design a compact space we were delighted at the opportunity that has presented itself. The 470 sft 1BHK abode would serve as a place of relaxation for the couple looking for a break from the stressful urban environment.

Our first step was to reduce space restricting elements at strategic locations to create larger flowing spaces which would allow free movement and energy circulation. We then created divisions and niches based on the specific minimum needs of the client. Yellow was selected as a color for its refreshing and therapeutic qualities since the intention was to invigorate the mind and soothe the senses. Applying a dash of color at specific locations via a selection of materials ensured that the user forgot about the life and worries left behind.
